Carbon Molecular Sieve Working Condition
1-)Air Compression Purification Process
It is very important to supply purified gases for carbon molecular sieve adsorption tower,particles and organic gas would plug
carbon molecular sieve pore,and gradually weak its separation performance. Air purification method as following.
a)Put air inlet of air compressor away from the site where filled in oil mist and organic gas.
b)Gas supplied to carbon molecular sieve for adsorption must be disposed by refrigeration dryer and purification system first.
2-)Nitrogen Concentration and Productivity
Nitrogen generated by carbon molecular sieve,nitrogen concentration and productivity is adjustable according to demand,while
gas production time and operation pressure is determined,decrease gas productivity,concentration will increase, on the
contrary,increase gas productivity,concentration would decreased.
3-) Pressure Equalization Time
In nitrogen separating process,while one adsorption tower finished its adsorption,the compressed air could immitted to
another adsorption tower which had been regernerated,then the two adsorption tower reach same compressure,this process
known as pressure equalization.proper pressure equalization time selection is benefit for enery-saving as well as decreasion
of carbon molecular sieve confliction,so as to prolong the service life of carbon molecular sieve.reference to valve switching
speed generally choosed pressure equalization time is 1~3 seconds.
4-)Gas Production Time
Carbon molecular sieve adsorb rate to oxygen and nitrogen is difference as oxygen and nitrogen molecular sieve in different
diffusion speed,oxygen adsorption would saturated in a short period of time,but the adsorption of nitrogen is very less.short
production time can improve gas productivity effectively.but increase the operating frequency of the valve, so the performance
of valve is also very important.
General adsorption time is 30-120 seconds. small-size high nitrogen concentration generator is recommended short gas
production time,large-size low nitrogen concentration recommended long gas production time.
5-)Operating Pressure
Carbon molecular sieve has dynamic effect as well as adsorption effect,higher adsorption pressure,higher adsorption capacity,
so pressure is favorable for adsorption, but too high adsorption pressure would result in difficulties for air compressor model
selection.in addition,adsorption pressure request is different for normal pressure regeneration and vacuum regeneration,
Considering all the consitions,suggest 5-8kg/cm2 adsporption pressure for normal pressure regeneration;and 3-5kgs/cm2
adsorption pressure for vacuum regeneration.
6-)The Use of Temperature
As adsorbent,low adsorption tempreture is favorable,if possible lower adsorption temperature it is benefit for carbon
molecular sieve adsorption performance optimization.
